Madden Industrial Craftsmen Inc. in Tigard, OR is seeking a Plastics Welder/Fabricator for a long-term day or swing shift position at a plastics manufacturer. You will bond and bend plastics in a cleanroom setting to meet precise drawings.

Responsibilities include welding to drawings, identifying plastics, bending with heat, and operating bonding equipment. The role requires 3+ years in manufacturing and ability to work in a cleanroom environment.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent; 3+ years in a manufacturing environment, plastics fabrication preferred.
• Ability to identify different plastics and materials listed in the posting.
• Ability to bend materials using heat and to read engineered drawings.
• Experience in cleanroom setting and training others is favorable.
• Able to lift up to 35 lbs and stand for long shifts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and weld complex plastic parts to drawing specifications.
• Identify plastics and select appropriate bonding methods.
• Bend plastics using heat and operate bonding equipment.
• Work in a cleanroom setting and operate mills/lathe as needed.
• Read and interpret bill of materials and drawings; document data.
• Train assigned workers in new tasks and assist customer-site work.
