Job summary

the company is seeking a Plastics Supply Handler to join our Manufacturing team in the Morganton, NC area. You will be responsible for moving materials, operating equipment, and ensuring timely production of life-saving plastic components.

Qualifications

• Highschool Diploma or GED.
• Ability to read, write and perform basic mathematics calculations.

Responsibilities

• Loads vinyl roll stock onto carts and stages behind designated Kiefels.
• Supplies department with Kiefel tubing.
• Completes required documentation and labeling. Maintains Ante Room per GMP requirements.
• Supplies materials for Subassembly and Extrusion machines. Moves finished goods to staging areas.
• Removes scrap and performs housekeeping duties as required.
• Operates grinder and blender.
• Inspects ground trim for foreign material.
• Releases trim and transports to warehouse, performs documentation and cleans area.
• Supports Safety, 6S, GMP, and TPM efforts in the area and reports any of these or quality issues to Supervision as needed.
