Job summary

Ravago seeks a Quality Technician to monitor and maintain quality of all products produced at the Ravago Baytown facility, ensuring compliance with Quality, Laboratory, Environmental and Safety systems. This role provides strong support to production and helps drive product quality.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, 1–2 years in manufacturing, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Word and Excel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and 1–2 years of manufacturing experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to manage time, organize, and set priorities.
• Forklift experience required.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain quality of all products produced at Ravago Baytown.
• Provide production process support; confidence to shut down an extruder if necessary.
• Support manufacturing with re-work, SPC adjustments and SOC changes to stay within spec.
• Prepare data for lot certifications and enter SPC data from offline testing.
• Prepare customer samples for external testing and shipment.
• Perform in-process color sample preparation, measurement and pigment adjustments.
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness and organization.
• Laboratory equipment PMs and verifications.
• Support receiving staff with raw material inspection, testing and approval.
• Train, coach, assist and verify manufacturing personnel to perform in-process product inspections.
• Follow all Quality, Safety and Environmental Procedures.
• Apply the Ravago 7S for Success standards to the work areas.
• Uphold the Ravago Code of Conduct standards.
• Other duties as assigned by the Quality Manager.
