Job summary

Pretium Packaging, L.L.C. is seeking a Shift Supervisor for our Bethlehem-area plastics facility to oversee nightly production and ensure top performance. You will manage staffing, schedules, and quality control while upholding safety, cleanliness, and operational discipline.

You’ll lead a team of operators, coach performance, and coordinate with other supervisors to keep lines running smoothly. Evening to overnight shifts and weekend coverage are required, with overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a supervisory role within plastics manufacturing.
• Experience with plastics processes and Beckum equipment.
• Strong leadership and clear communication skills.
• Ability to manage a diverse plant-floor team and solve problems.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and varying shifts.
• Proficiency with IQMS and MS Office (PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shift operations, schedules, staffing, and quality control.
• Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Train and mentor new employees for proper performance.
• Monitor processes to identify issues and bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with other supervisors and departments to improve efficiency.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching.
• Stay current with industry trends to keep processes competitive.
