Duke Eye Center is seeking a full-time oculofacial specialist to provide facial reconstruction, cosmetic surgery, and orbital surgery at our Garner, NC site. The physician will join a dedicated team of eight board-certified clinicians, with strong teaching and clinical care missions across Duke Eye Center locations.

Successful candidates will have completed an ACGME ophthalmology residency and AUPO-accredited oculofacial fellowship; board certification is preferred but not required.

Duke Eye Center is seeking candidates for a full-time oculofacial specialist to provide facial reconstruction, cosmetic surgery, and orbital surgery at our new site in Garner, NC. The physician will have the support of a team of eight board-certified clinicians and surgeons whose combined skill and leadership make for a well-rounded and respected group who are committed to training the next generation of oculofacial specialists and providing world-class clinical care.

This position offers a unique opportunity that includes the following:

• Serve our community on our new Duke campus being constructed in Garner
• Ophthalmology will be housed in the phase-two building of the 22-acre campus, anticipated opening in November 2027
• 8,000-sq-ft dedicated to ophthalmology, clinic plus procedural rooms
• OR time will be available at Duke Raleigh campus
• Dedicated support staff including ophthalmic tech assistance, Abridge AI scribe and surgical coordinator
• Duke School of Medicine Clinical Faculty appointment, Children’s tuition grant, 13.2% employer retirement contribution, and other exceptional faculty benefits
• $10,000 CME allowance

Successful Candidate Will Have

• Willingness and ability to travel between Duke Eye Center locations Garner, including Raleigh and Durham
• Completed an ACGME-accredited ophthalmology residency
• Completed an AUPO-accredited oculofacial fellowship
• Board certification (current or within the first year of hire) is preferred but not required
