Job summary

Confidential in the Erie, PA area is seeking a Production Manager to direct a production department, drive continuous improvement in quality and productivity, and meet safety standards. You will coach and train staff, lead budgeting and planning, and manage performance issues while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities include overseeing the production process, monitoring KPIs, and ensuring customer satisfaction through quality assessments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in production management or related field.
• 2+ years of production management or leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Experience in a plastics manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong organizational and managerial abilities.
• Proficiency with MS Office and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Direct and guide a production department towards continuous improvement in quality and productivity.
• Oversee overall production output and goals; ensure safety and quality standards are met.
• Coach, direct and develop team; train new hires; address performance issues.
• Coordinate with key internal and external production stakeholders.
• Monitor department productivity and ensure production goals are met.
• Contribute to production planning and budgeting; assess equipment purchasing and retooling.
