Job summary

Midland-Marvel Recruiters, LLC seeks a seasoned Production & Projects Manager to lead plastics manufacturing operations, drive safety, and maximize plant output. This role requires strong cross‑functional collaboration with engineering, maintenance, quality, and leadership teams.

You will supervise daily production, manage KPIs, coordinate capital expansion projects, and implement continuous improvement while ensuring regulatory compliance and cost‑effective, reliable production across shifts.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years experience in manufacturing/production environment.
• 3-5 years supervisory experience.
• Strong background in production operations.
• Familiarity with ISO and OSHA regulations.
• Willingness to work non-standard hours when needed.
• Experience with plastics manufacturing preferred (injection, extrusion or blow molding).
• Project management experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day‑to‑day Production Department to support plastics manufacturing.
• Review KPI metrics and prepare monthly production and equipment performance reports.
• Develop training manuals for production staff and manage shift schedules.
• Coordinate with maintenance, plant office, and shipping for production activities.
• Ensure product quality across shifts and implement corrective actions.
• Assist in capital expansion or improvement projects and vendor evaluations.
• Maintain production safety supplies and ensure proper training of personnel.
