Job summary

Pretium on our 2-2-3 night schedule (7pm–7am) seeks a skilled maintenance technician to keep blow molding equipment (EBM/SBM), conveyors, packers and automation running. You will diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues, use hand tools, multimeters and PLC interfaces, and lead smooth shift handoffs.

You’ll document work in MaintainX CMMS, support installations and upgrades, coach teammates, and uphold LOTO, GMP and PPE safety.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in manufacturing/industrial maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting across mechanical/controls systems.
• Hands-on experience with PLCs, VFDs, and industrial automation platforms.
• Ability to interpret manuals, blueprints, and electrical/pneumatic schematics.
• Comfortable with machining and fabrication tools: mills, lathes, grinders, welding, and more.
• CMMS literacy and preventive maintenance scheduling skills.
• Self-directed, proactive, and collaborative; available for overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Execute preventive/corrective maintenance on blow molding equipment (EBM/SBM), conveyors, packers, and automation.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues using hand/power tools, multimeters, and PLC interfaces.
• Confront unusual problems requiring deep research and advanced problem-solving.
• Collaborate with operations to reduce downtime and fine-tune machine performance.
• Lead thorough shift handoffs and complete end-of-shift reporting.
• Record work and update equipment histories in CMMS (MaintainX).
• Support equipment installations, upgrades, and process enhancements.
• Coach teammates; share technical expertise to grow the team’s capability.
• Enforce and model safety practices: LOTO, GMP, and PPE compliance.
• Communicate clearly with both maintenance peers and production staff.
