Job summary

Torrey Holistics in Carrollton, TX is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for night shift to keep blow molding and automated equipment running efficiently. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues, and document work in MaintainX.

You will mentor teammates, collaborate with operations to minimize downtime, and participate in safety-focused upgrades and installations. Overtime may be available to meet production needs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in industrial/manufacturing maintenance.
• Proven troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
• Experience with PLCs and VFDs; ability to read schematics.
• Hands-on with shop tools and fabrication equipment.
• Familiar with CMMS; MaintainX preferred.
• Willingness to overtime and shift work.

Responsibilities

• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on blow molders, conveyors, packers, and automated equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues with precision.
• Leverage PLC interfaces, VFD knowledge, and diagnostic tools to drive uptime.
• Train and mentor maintenance teammates; raise the technical bar across the crew.
• Partner with operations to minimize downtime and improve machine performance.
• Maintain logs and equipment histories in CMMS (MaintainX).
• Document end-of-shift status and ensure dependable hand-offs.
• Contribute to equipment installs, upgrades, and process improvement projects.
• Lead with safety: follow LOTO, GMP, and PPE policies.

Are you the go-to problem solver when a line goes down?

When an SBM blow molder throws a fault at 2:17 am, you don't flinch—you connect to the PLC, trace the signal, verify with a multimeter, and get to root cause fast. Minutes matter. Then you capture the fix in MaintainX, coach a teammate on what changed, and ensure production is back on pace before handing off with a crisp, complete report.

Your impact

• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on blow molders (EBM, SBM), conveyors, packers, and automated equipment.
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues with precision.
• Leverage PLC interfaces, VFD knowledge, and diagnostic tools to drive uptime.
• Train and mentor maintenance teammates; raise the technical bar across the crew.
• Partner with operations to minimize downtime and improve machine performance.
• Maintain accurate logs and equipment histories in CMMS (MaintainX).
• Document end-of-shift status and ensure dependable daily/nightly hand-offs.
• Contribute to equipment installs, upgrades, and process improvement projects.
• Lead with safety: follow LOTO, GMP, and PPE policies every task, every time.

Must-have background

• 5+ years in industrial/manufacturing maintenance.
• Proven troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
• Experience with PLCs, VFDs, and automation platforms.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Hands-on with shop and fabrication tools: mills, lathes, grinders, welding, etc.
• Comfort with CMMS and preventive maintenance scheduling (MaintainX a plus).
• Self-starter who collaborates well; proactive mindset.
• Open to overtime when needed.

Tools & tech you’ll use

• All types of hand and power tools, multimeters, PLC interfaces.
• CMMS: MaintainX for logs, PMs, and equipment records.

Schedule

Night Shift, Monday-Friday, 10:00 pm - 6:30 am, with overtime potential.
