Manufacturing Inc in Worcester, MA is seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Estimator to join our fast-paced plastics production facility. You will review engineering packages, evaluate CAD/CAM models, and process RFQs from receipt to final proposal, applying hands-on CNC know-how to quote accurate, profitable parts.

The ideal candidate has 2–5+ years estimating experience in precision CNC plastics, solid cost modeling skills, and familiarity with ERP/MRP systems for BOMs and routings.

Competenze

• 2–5+ years hands-on estimating in precision CNC components.
• Knowledge of engineered plastics (PEEK, Delrin, UHMW, PTFE, acrylics).
• Experience responding to RFQs with speed and precision.
• Proficient reading of 2D drawings and GD&T; able to interrogate 3D CAD/CAM files.
• Familiar with ERP/MRP data entry for work orders.
• Associate degree or technical certification preferred.

Mansioni

• Drive the end-to-end quoting cycle for engineered polymer parts using CAD/CAM tools.
• Analyze RFQs and technical docs to establish yields, cycle times, and finishing operations.
• Apply solid cost modeling across tooling, run-time, and setup variables to maintain margins.
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Production, and Purchasing to turn customer prints into ERP job structures.
• Maintain BOMs and routings in MRP to reflect resin pricing and shop-floor scheduling.
• Lead kick-offs for CNC milling, turning, and routing to match quoted assumptions.
