Qualifications

• Electrical background required.
• Plastic industry experience preferred; extrusion and thermoforming helpful.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical controls.
• Detail-oriented, sense of urgency, self-directed and well-organized.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• 2+ years of maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with troubleshooting and repairing equipment using prints, schematics, and knowledge of electricity, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Perform minor building, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and painting repairs as needed.
• Perform preventative maintenance measures.
• Maintain repair equipment and supplies inventory.
• Respond quickly to emergencies, notify appropriate personnel and follow safety protocol.
• Perform diversified duties to maintain production machines and facility equipment.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance for equipment and auxiliary equipment.
• Contribute to a safe and clean work environment; maintain building safety and appearance.
