We are seeking a Plastics Maintenance Technician who will be responsible for equipment, machinery, electrical, and plumbing systems on the 2nd or 3rd shift.

In this role, you will be responsible for :

  • All aspects of mechanical machine service and complete operation, which include predictive, preventive, and proactive assessments.
  • Root cause analysis, expediently develop and implement solutions.
  • Conduct equipment condition assessments to determine necessary modifications, systems to enhance production reliability, and specific elements of quality system compliance.

The required qualifications for the job include :

  • 2+ years of machinery repair experience in a plastics manufacturing environment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and demonstrated ability to develop creative solutions to problems.
  • Knowledge of OEM controls, servo operation, programming, machining, robot operation, and troubleshooting.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in :

  • Strong communication, time management, organizational, problem-solving
  • Medical industry or machinery relocation and installation experience
  • Welding and Fabrication
