Job summary

Jobot in Kansas City, MO is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair industrial plastics manufacturing equipment. The role focuses on injection molding and blow molding machinery, with responsibilities across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

You will read schematics, perform preventive maintenance, support production startups, and document service histories.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably within plastics manufacturing.
Hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing injection molding and/or blow molding equipment.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities.
Experience maintaining hydraulic, pneumatic, and industrial electrical systems.
Knowledge of motors, drives, sensors, relays, pumps, heaters, and temperature-control systems.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair injection molding, blow molding, and related plastics manufacturing equipment.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and minimize production interruptions.
Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment failures.
Maintain and repair motors, pumps, gearboxes, sensors, heaters, temperature controls, and industrial electrical components.
Troubleshoot auxiliary production equipment, including conveyors, material handling systems, dryers, chillers, compressors, and grinders.
