Qualifications

• B.S. or higher in mechanical/plastics engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of injection molding, product design, quoting and troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with polymer materials, heat transfer, surface treatment.

Responsibilities

• Design plastics or injection-mold fabrication processes.
• Create and improve injection-mold machinery processes.
• Research and develop new manufacturing processes.
• Analyze manufacturing data and suggest improvements.
• Ensure quality output of molded components.
• Interact with customers, suppliers, and internal resources.
• Develop 3D solid part designs (SolidWorks preferred).
• Perform Moldflow simulations as needed.
