This position will play a key role in developing and improving extrusion and injection molding processes within a cleanroom manufacturing environment. The Manufacturing Engineer will work closely with production, engineering, quality, and global teams to improve manufacturing performance, support increased production volumes, and successfully introduce new products and processes.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, quality, efficiency, and manufacturing performance.
Develop, optimize, and standardize extrusion and injection molding processes, tooling, fixtures, and equipment.
Partner with local and global engineering teams to duplicate and standardize manufacturing processes and equipment.
Develop and execute capital equipment requests to support manufacturing expansion.
Work closely with Production to identify opportunities to improve product quality, throughput, and efficiency.
Develop process controls, procedures, and documentation designed to reduce scrap, rework, and other manufacturing waste.
Support new product development and introduction activities to ensure manufacturing requirements are incorporated into new processes.
Design and improve manufacturing equipment and work cells with safety and ergonomics in mind.
Coordinate the procurement and implementation of jigs, fixtures, assembly aids, tools, and gauges.
Provide troubleshooting, fault-finding, and technical support for manufacturing equipment and processes.
Assist with investigating and resolving production issues and customer complaints.
Serve as a technical resource and leader within the manufacturing department.
Develop cost justifications and recommendations for new equipment, processes, and productivity improvements.
Perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions for manufacturing-related issues.
Support Engineering Change Order (ECO) processes and ensure appropriate implementation.
Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and visual aids.
Support compliance with applicable safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
Bachelor's degree in Plastics Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
Minimum of 5 years of Manufacturing Engineering experience or equivalent relevant experience.
Strong experience with extrusion and/or injection molding processes.
Experience working within a manufacturing environment, preferably involving assembly and testing operations.
Experience utilizing Statistical Process Control (SPC) to monitor and maintain process consistency.
Experience analyzing manufacturing equipment and processes and documenting process improvements or modifications.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and workflow optimization methodologies.
Experience with 2D and 3D CAD software.
Experience with FMEA, DFMA, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is preferred.
Experience implementing and analyzing quality tools and metrics.
Demonstrated experience participating in or leading Continuous Improvement initiatives.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining manufacturing milestones and production uptime.

Pay Details: $75,000.00 to $105,000.00 per year
