Job summary

Lucid Motors, based in Southfield, MI, seeks a Senior Supplier Industrialization Engineer for Plastics and Composites. You will drive industrialization with suppliers, lead APQP/PPAP, and ensure design-for-manufacturing in a fast-paced mobility environment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in high-volume plastics, GD&T proficiency, and hands-on QC/QE experience. Expect cross-functional collaboration, travel, and a strong emphasis on quality and supplier development.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in high-volume plastics manufacturing, supplier quality or manufacturing engineering.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T, tolerance analysis and inspection setups.
• Experience with APQP/PPAP in automotive or similar sectors.
• Ability to read schematics and perform root-cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Own supplier industrialization activities for plastics components from design to PPAP.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and drive quality plans with suppliers.
• Lead design reviews ensuring manufacturability and quality requirements.
• Perform audits, monitor KPI performance and drive corrective actions.
• Travel 30–50% to supplier sites and Lucid facilities as needed.
