Job summary

The role requires reading technical drawings, operating plastic welding equipment, and collaborating with engineers and production staff to meet schedules and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Experience in plastic welding or plastic fabrication is preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
• Experience with thermoplastic materials such as PVC, CPVC, PP, PVDF, HDPE is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, work orders, and specifications.
• Measure, mark, cut, and prepare plastic materials for fabrication and welding.
• Perform plastic welding using relevant methods and equipment (hot air, extrusion, socket fusion, butt fusion).
• Fabricate and assemble plastic components, piping, tanks, fittings, and other structures.
• Set up and operate plastic welding and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
• Inspect welds and materials for quality and customer requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow PPE policies.
• Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and quality personnel.
