Qualifications

• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficiency with thermoplastics such as PVC, HDPE, polypropylene, or acrylic.

Responsibilities

• Perform plastic welding using techniques such as hot gas, extrusion, or ultrasonic welding on a variety of thermoplastic materials.
• Fabricate, cut, shape, and assemble plastic components according to blueprints, drawings, or specifications.
• Inspect finished welds and fabricated parts for quality, accuracy, and structural integrity.
• Operate and maintain fabrication equipment including saws, routers, heat benders, and welding tools.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work orders.
• Troubleshoot and repair plastic assemblies and components as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with shop safety standards.
