Job summary

Austin American Technology Corp is seeking a Plastic Welder and Fabricator to join our Burnet, TX team. This hands-on role focuses on precision fabrication and welding to deliver high-quality plastic components for our customers.

Responsibilities include welding using hot gas, extrusion, or ultrasonic methods, fabricating parts per blueprints, inspecting welds for quality, and maintaining fabrication equipment. Candidates should read drawings and work orders and work effectively in a team.

About the Role:

Austin American Technology Corp is looking for a skilled Plastic Welder and Fabricator to join our team in Burnet, TX. This is a hands-on role where your craftsmanship and attention to detail will directly contribute to the quality products we deliver to our customers. Responsibilities:

• Perform plastic welding using techniques such as hot gas, extrusion, or ultrasonic welding on a variety of thermoplastic materials
• Fabricate, cut, shape, and assemble plastic components according to blueprints, drawings, or specifications
• Inspect finished welds and fabricated parts for quality, accuracy, and structural integrity
• Operate and maintain fabrication equipment including saws, routers, heat benders, and welding tools
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work orders
• Troubleshoot and repair plastic assemblies and components as needed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with shop safety standards

Requirements:

• Prior experience in plastic welding and fabrication required
• Proficiency with thermoplastics such as PVC, HDPE, polypropylene, or acrylic
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
• Experience operating fabrication tools including heat guns, welding rods, and cutting equipment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a production environment
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and a safety-first mindset
