Overview

Bassett Healthcare Network, a progressive, academic health system in central New York and a major teaching affiliate of Columbia University, is seeking a full-time BC/BE Plastic Surgeon. Visa sponsorship is available.

Job Description & Responsibilities

• Provide procedures including breast & reconstructive surgery, flaps, complex wound care, hernia repair, facial trauma reconstruction, hand surgery, cosmetic surgery, microsurgery, peripheral nerve surgery, among others.
• Work with full support staff, including APCs, surgical residents, and medical students.
• Limited call responsibilities to the primary hospital.
• Opportunities to teach and participate in outreach.
• Manage a full-spectrum case mix with a diverse patient population.
• Utilize EMR system (EPIC).

Qualifications

• MD, DO, or MBBS
• Board eligible or certified
• New York State licensure
• BLS certification
• DEA license

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $432,807 - $645,439, based on experience and qualifications.
• Sign-on bonus up to $100,000.
• Group employed model.
• Visa sponsorship available (J-1 and H-1B).
• Benefits include medical, dental, vision insurance, paid time off, life insurance, disability, malpractice coverage, retirement plans, CME time and funds, and a supportive transition bonus.
