Job summary

NYU Grossman School of Medicine, part of NYU Langone Health, seeks a Physician Assistant for the Bellevue Plastic Surgery program. The PA will deliver comprehensive medical care, coordinate therapies, and support inpatient and outpatient populations under physician supervision.

Minimum NYS PA license, NCCPA board certification, and BLS are required; ACLS/PALS/NRP are preferred. The role involves teamwork with an interdisciplinary staff and participation in education, research, and patient safety

Qualifications

• Physician Assistant Bachelor's Degree (BA-PA) required.
• Current New York State Physician Assistant License required.
• NCCPA Board Certification.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Provides comprehensive medical care using current standards.
• Coordinates therapy, prescriptions, and modalities per protocol.
• Performs delegated clinical duties under supervising physician.
• Prescribes inpatient and discharge medications per NYS law with DEA where applicable.
• Collaborates with nursing and other disciplines to ensure quality outcomes.
• Contributes to clinical research and data collection as applicable.
• Maintains PA board certification and CME requirements.
