Endeavor Health is seeking a highly motivated Advanced Practice Provider (APN/PA) to join its Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery practice in Illinois. This primarily outpatient role offers substantial clinical autonomy and collaboration with experienced plastic surgeons.

The PA will handle postoperative care, new patient consultations, and select office-based procedures, with OR participation 2–3 times per month. A focus on breast and reconstructive surgery is expected.

Qualificações

• IL APN/PA licensure; Federal DEA and IL Controlled Substance License required
• Master's level degree in specialty area is required
• BLS/CPR certification required
• Prior APN/PA experience in plastic surgery or breast surgery preferred
• APNs must have first assist certification for this role

Responsabilidades

• Postoperative care for reconstructive and aesthetic procedures, independent evaluation of new patient consultations, and performance of office-based procedures
• Coordinate daily clinical operations and oversee nursing staff and medical assistants
• Attend operating room cases as surgical first assistant 2–3 times per month
• Assess wound healing, manage pain, and educate patients on postoperative care
• Identify and manage complications and coordinate additional surgical interventions with attending surgeons
• Provide potential aesthetic services, including Botox and dermal filler injections

Conhecimentos
