Job summary

BAS HealthCare in Farmington, CT, is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to join an academic plastic surgery department. The role centers on intraoperative first assist duties and close collaboration with a renowned plastic surgeon, with emphasis on oncology breast reconstruction, facial and body contouring procedures.

The PA must be a graduate of an accredited PA Master’s program and licensed to practice in Connecticut, with plastic surgery or surgical experience highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PA master's program.
• Licensed to practice as a Physician Assistant in Connecticut.
• Plastic surgery or surgical experience preferred.
• PA experience in OR and ambulatory settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as intraoperative first assistant for reconstructive and cosmetic procedures.
• Collaborate with plastic surgeons in ambulatory and OR settings.
• Perform postoperative follow-ups and office-based procedures.
• Inpatient rounding may be included on a limited basis.
• Support a wide range of facial, breast, and body contouring surgeries.
