Mayo Clinic in Phoenix is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Division of Plastic Surgery. The role supports patient care within a collaborative team of physicians and NP/PAs, with potential for autonomous outpatient practice and a personal caseload.

The ideal candidate will be a Masters-prepared NP or PA graduate, licensed in AZ with AGNP/ACNP or PA credentials, and equipped with BLS/ACLS and DEA registration.

Qualifications

• New Grads will not be considered at this time.
• Masters-prepared graduate of an accredited school of nursing and Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current AZ RN and APRN license and certification as a AGNP or ACNP.
• RN First Assist certification required.
• Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program with current PA certification by NCCPA and registration as a PA by the AZ State Board of Medical Practice.
• Active BLS, ACLS and RN First Assistant certification from AHA or American Red Cross at start date and DEA registration required.
• Seeking someone with a positive, growth mindset who works well with and is supportive of their teammates, is receptive to feedback, and can adapt to a changing work environment.

Responsabilités

• Support patient care needs within the Plastic Surgery team.
• Maintain an outpatient clinic with an individual caseload.
• Collaborate with physicians and residents in a team-based care model.
• Engage in educational activities with rotating medical, nursing, and NP/PA students.
• Demonstrate leadership through committees, projects, and performance improvement initiatives.
