Job summary

HKB Cosmetic Surgery is seeking a full-time Medical Office Assistant at our Fort Mill, SC location. The role is hands-on, supporting clinicians and office staff in a busy plastic surgery setting, four days a week, Monday through Friday.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of clinical experience in plastic surgery or dermatology, strong verbal and written communication skills, and familiarity with Nextech EMR. CMA, RMA, or CNA certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of clinical experience in a plastic surgery or dermatology office.
• CMA/RMA/CNA certification preferred.
• Nextech EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients in person or by phone and answer or refer inquiries.
• Prepare patients for visits, escort to exam rooms, provide gowns and drapes.
• Verify patient information, medical history, vital signs, and visit purpose.
• Assist health care providers during examinations and procedures; prepare specimens; manage specimens and labs.
• Educate patients by providing medication and diet information and instructions.
