Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Medical Coder specializing in Plastic Surgery in the Miami area. You will code Physician Plastic Surgery charges, communicate coding rationale to physicians, and code IP and OP Plastic Surgery charges.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED (relevant experience may substitute for formal education), 3+ years of Plastic Surgery coding, CPC from AAPC, and trauma surgery coding experience, plus plastics breast reconstruction coding, flap and tissue transfer

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience coding for Plastic Surgery.
• CPC from AAPC.
• Trauma surgery coding experience.
• Related to Plastics Breast Reconstruction coding experience.
• Flaps and adjacent tissue transfer experience.

The annual salary range for this position is $44,000.00-$74,000.00.

Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
