Acclaim Health, the physician-led medical group for JPS Health Network, seeks a Plastic Surgeon to join our surgical team in Fort Worth, Texas.1 The ideal candidate collaborates with physicians, patients, and staff to ensure quality, compassionate patient care.

The role emphasizes broad case mix including trauma, burn, post-oncologic, head and neck, trunk, extremities and cosmetic surgery, with opportunities for teaching and academic engagement within a renowned urban health system.

Qualifications

• Current Medical Doctor (M.D) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) degree from an accredited school of medicine.
• Residency and/or Fellowship training within specialty.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the multidisciplinary care delivered to all patients, to optimize patient care.
• Reviews patient medical charts to diagnose, treat, and provide care management and education to patients and families.
• Makes appropriate patient referrals as necessary.
• Monitors guidelines for the management of care and for ensuring the services are delivered in compliance with the guidelines established by JPS Health Network and Acclaim Health.
• Provides evidence-based and compassionate care to all patients as assigned to improve patient outcomes and increase patient satisfaction scores.
• Maintains a collaborative environment with other referring physicians, residents, clinical staff, and support staff to provide quality patient care.
• Supports academic, educational and research endeavors.
• Attends Performance Improvement Programs and Peer Review committee meetings; and is an active participant in the process.
• Partners and communicates with acumen to build a positive brand and patient/customer experience for those who encounter JPS Health Network and Acclaim Health.
• Serves as a resource to the community.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
