Job summary

The Permanente Medical Group in the East Bay seeks a Plastic Surgeon to join a six-physician practice serving Oakland and Richmond. The role focuses on breast reduction, breast reconstruction, transgender top surgery, and complex reconstructive cases; microsurgery is optional for fellowship‑trained candidates.

You’ll share call coverage among the group, work across Kaiser Oakland and Richmond campuses, and enjoy a collegial, physician‑led environment with broad scope and strong patient care

Qualifications

• BC or BE and CA medical license.
• Experience in breast reconstruction and complex reconstructions preferred.
• Comfort with rounds, call, and evaluating free flaps.
• Fellowship training in microsurgery is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform breast reduction, breast reconstruction, and transgender top surgery.
• Manage general and complex reconstructive cases referred by surgical colleagues.
• Round with team and participate in on-call duties.
• Collaborate with Kaiser Oakland and Richmond campuses and PA support.
