Job summary

The Permanente Medical Group, Inc. in Fremont/San Leandro, California seeks BE/BC Plastic Surgeon to join a group of three physicians, performing reconstructive and cosmetic surgery with high-volume elective breast procedures, breast reconstruction, gender-affirming top surgery, and body contouring.

Current partners are fellowship-trained microsurgeons; microsurgery not required unless fellowship completed.

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility required.
• Must be eligible for CA medical license or licensed to practice in CA.
• Fellowship training in microsurgery is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide general plastic surgery consultations and mild to moderate burn care.
• Assess and manage reconstructive referrals from surgical colleagues.
• Participate in a robust microsurgical breast reconstruction program as appropriate.
• Share call duties evenly among surgeons; no hand call; not a designated trauma center.
