Vohra Wound Physicians seeks a part-time Plastic Surgeon in Cuero, TX to lead wound management in post-acute settings with the support of physician trainers and fellowship directors.

The role emphasizes autonomy, clinical satisfaction, and work-life balance, with no nights, no weekend duties, and a mobile schedule serving facilities within 40–60 miles. Training is provided during onboarding and the first 6 months in wound care fellowship.

Qualifications

• Active unrestricted MD/DO medical license in the practicing state.
• Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
• W2 employment contract; no work visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Deliver modern wound management at the bedside in the post-acute care setting: Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals.
• Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
• Part-time role is a minimum of 3 days per week; full-time is 4–5 days per week.
• Mobile practice visiting facilities within a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location; typically 2-3 facilities per day and 20-30 patients daily.
• Clinical documentation at the point of care using a proprietary wound-specific EMR.

Requirements

• Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice
• Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.

Practice Overview

• Full time work: Monday - Friday (7am-4pm) or part time available.
• No call / No weekend clinical responsibilities.
• Physicians deliver modern wound management at the bedside in the post-acute care setting: Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals.
• Our physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
• Part-time role is a minimum of 3 days per week. Full time role is 4 - 5 days per week.
• This is a mobile practice: The physicians visit facilities in a 40 – 60 mile radius of practice location.
• Our physicians visit 2-3 facilities per day treating approximately 20-30 patients per day.
• Clinical documentation is at point of care, in real-time during clinical rounds, using our proprietary wound specific EMR.
• Paid Training is provided during onboarding + 6 months wound care fellowship
• W2 employment contract (No work visa sponsorship is available)
