Vohra Wound Physicians in McAllen, TX is seeking a Part-Time Plastic Surgeon to join our national wound physician group. The role emphasizes autonomy and work-life balance with no nights, no calls, and no weekend duties.

Responsibilities include delivering bedside wound management in post-acute care settings, conducting weekly rounds at multiple facilities, and documenting in real-time using our proprietary EMR.

Qualifications

• Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice.
• Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.

Responsibilities

• Full time work: Monday - Friday (7am-4pm) or part time available.
• No call / No weekend clinical responsibilities.
• Deliver modern wound management at the bedside in post-acute care settings (Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals).
• Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
• Part-time role is a minimum of 3 days per week; full-time is 4–5 days per week.
• Mobile practice: visit facilities within a 40–60 mile radius of practice location.
• Visit 2-3 facilities per day; treat ~20-30 patients per day.
• Clinical documentation at point of care during rounds using proprietary wound-specific EMR.
• Paid training during onboarding plus 6 months wound care fellowship.
• W2 employment contract (No work visa sponsorship).

Become an expert in wound management, learn from highly qualified wound certified physician trainers and Fellowship Directors. Utilize cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities.

Practice Overview:

• Full time work: Monday - Friday (7am-4pm) or part time available.
• No call / No weekend clinical responsibilities.
• Physicians deliver modern wound management at the bedside in the post-acute care setting: Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals.
• Our physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
• Part-time role is a minimum of 3 days per week. Full time role is 4 - 5 days per week.
• This is a mobile practice: The physicians visit facilities in a 40 – 60 mile radius of practice location.
