Job summary

Vohra Wound Physicians is seeking a Part-Time Wound Care Physician for Cuero, TX. You will deliver bedside wound care in post-acute facilities within a 40–60 mile radius, with a mobile practice and no night or weekend requirements.

The role offers autonomy and flexibility, a typical 3-day per week schedule, paid training, and W2 employment with benefits. You’ll work 7am–4pm or similar weekday shifts, joining a network of certified trainers and fellowship directors.

Qualifications

• Active unrestricted MD/DO license in the practicing state.
• Commitment of at least 3 weekdays per week.
• Willingness to work in a mobile, post-acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Full-time/part-time schedule with 3–5 days per week depending on needs.
• No call or weekend clinical responsibilities.
• Deliver bedside wound care in post-acute settings.
• Visit facilities within a 40–60 mile radius.
• Treat 20–30 patients per day across 2–3 facilities.
• Real-time documentation at the point of care using proprietary EMR.
• Paid training during onboarding + 6-month wound care fellowship.
• W2 employment contract (no visa sponsorship).

• W2 full-time physicians earn on average $300,000 per year plus benefits.

Requirements

• Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice
• Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.

Practice Overview

• Full time work: Monday - Friday (7am-4pm) or part time available.
• No call / No weekend clinical responsibilities.
• Physicians deliver modern wound management at the bedside in the post-acute care setting: Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals.
• Our physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
• Part-time role is a minimum of 3 days per week. Full time role is 4-5 days per week.
• This is a mobile practice: The physicians visit facilities in a 40-60 mile radius of practice location.
• Our physicians visit 2-3 facilities per day treating approximately 20-30 patients per day.
• Clinical documentation is at point of care, in real-time during clinical rounds, using our proprietary wound specific EMR.
• Paid Training is provided during onboarding + 6 months wound care fellowship
• W2 employment contract (No work visa sponsorship is available)
