Qualifications

• User knowledge of basic computer functions.
• Problem solving skills and ability to troubleshoot process related issues in a timely manner.
• Basic math, reading, and writing skills

Responsibilities

• Operate shredding, grinding, extrusion, and pelletizing equipment in the manufacturing of recycled polyethylene.
• Maintain 5S in the work areas at all times.
• Keep machine settings and ensure recycled line operates within safety and operating characteristics.
• Feed scrap material correctly for proper coloration and properties.
• Meet scheduled output production rates and report on required forms.
• Report non-conforming product to management immediately.
• Perform preventative/predictive maintenance and document activities.
• Assist/train co-workers as needed and follow supervisor directions.
• Willing to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as scheduled.
• Other duties may be assigned.
