Job summary

Plastipak is seeking a Production Technician in Havre de Grace, MD to operate extrusion, injection or blow-molding equipment and monitor settings. You will perform basic machine maintenance and ensure visual quality checks are entered into SAP.

The role requires at least 1 year of high-volume production experience, ability to lift 50 lbs, and solid troubleshooting skills. Shift options include day and night with a rotating schedule and premium pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 1 year of work experience in a high-volume production environment.
• 1 year of experience operating manufacturing machines & equipment.
• Basic hydraulics, pneumatics & electrical knowledge.
• Strong problem-solving and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Operate extrusion, injection or blow-molding machines & equipment.
• Monitor machine settings (heat control, water cooling temperatures, hydraulic pressure).
• Complete basic machine maintenance.
• Check visual quality checks and complete corresponding data entry in SAP
• Participate in training to learn new skills.
