Job summary

Spherion Staffing, LLC is hiring Plastic Operators in Horicon, WI. If you have machine operating experience, we want to hear from you. Starting pay is $20/hour+ based on experience, with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts available and shift premiums for later shifts.

You will run rotational molding machines, assist with molds, monitor temperatures, and help drive improvements to safety, quality, and productivity. A comprehensive benefits package is provided upon permanent hire; Equal Opportunity

• High attention to detail, strong self-motivation, and multitasking skills.
• Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Excellent teamwork skills and ability to coordinate across departments.
• Ability to follow instructions and execute tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Run rotational molding machines to meet or exceed plant metrics related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Morale.
• Work collaboratively with your team to assemble and dismantle production molds.
• Remove molded parts from molds, monitor part temperatures, and perform mold changes using overhead cranes and rigging.
• Use feedback from Trimmers to drive process improvements, reduce scrap, and improve overall productivity.
• Maintain continuity across shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and ongoing needs in production/quality logs.
• Adhere to safety procedures, 6S and keep a clean, orderly workspace.
