Qualifications

• 1–2 years in production environment, preferrable plastic manufacturing.
• 1–2 years of experience setting up and maintaining machines.
• Knowledgeable with mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical machine components.
• Troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Basic math and ability to read a ruler, accurate to fractions of 1/32".
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and write standard documentations.
• Ability to effectively communicate with other employees.

Responsibilities

• Performs tooling preparation and machine setup activities to support manufacturing, including assembling and mounting tooling, adjusting machine settings, and monitoring functions for quality output.
• Assemble and mount tooling components (molds, bases, boxes, plugs, receivers, dies) used in the process.
• Set up and maintain optimal machine performance and cycle rates by adjusting mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical settings.
• Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot breakdowns, and adjust machines and tooling to maintain quality parts.
• Disassemble, clean, and store tooling; identify through paperwork items needing repair or maintenance.
• Other duties as assigned.
