We are currently seeking experienced and dependable Plastic Molding Machine Operators to join the production team of one of Oklahoma’s established plastic manufacturing companies. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with previous injection molding, plastic manufacturing, machine operation, assembly, or production experience who are looking for steady work with a respected manufacturer. As a Plastic Molding Machine Operator, you will play an important role in producing high-quality molded products while monitoring machinery, inspecting finished parts, and maintaining production standards throughout your shift.
Available Shifts
- 1st Shift: 7:30 AM-4:00 PM
- 2nd Shift: 3:50 PM-12:10 AM
- 3rd Shift: 11:30 PM-8:10 AM
The typical schedule is Monday-Friday, with some Saturdays required depending on workload and production schedules. Candidates should also be available for overtime when needed.
What You'll Be Doing
Plastic Molding Machine Operators are responsible for safely operating equipment that shapes plastic and other materials through injection molding and related manufacturing processes. Responsibilities may include:
- Operating plastic molding and casting machinery
- Monitoring injection molding equipment throughout production runs
- Producing molded plastic components according to company specifications
- Loading raw materials into equipment
- Positioning molds and machine components
- Securing mold sections for proper operation
- Starting and stopping molding machines as required
- Monitoring machine cycles
- Removing completed molded parts
- Inspecting finished products for quality
- Identifying surface defects, flaws, or inconsistencies
- Separating defective products from acceptable parts
- Ensuring molded products meet production specifications
- Adjusting machine settings when authorized
- Monitoring molding temperature
- Monitoring material volume
- Monitoring machine pressure
- Monitoring cycle and curing times
- Assisting with machine adjustments and setup
- Supporting mold changes when required
- Helping troubleshoot basic production or quality issues
- Maintaining accurate production flow
- Keeping machinery and surrounding work areas clean and organized
- Following all production and safety procedures
- Communicating equipment or quality concerns to supervisors
This position is best suited for candidates who are comfortable working around automated and semi-automated production machinery. Operators may be responsible for monitoring several important factors during the molding process, including:

Qualifications
