Job summary

Pretium Packaging, L.L.C. in Cleveland, OH is hiring multiple Machine Operators to join our manufacturing team. You will set up and operate plastic molding machines, monitor performance, and perform routine maintenance to ensure quality and efficiency.

The role requires a high school diploma, ability to read technical drawings, and strong attention to detail. On-site, full-time position with competitive pay from $19 to $20 per hour and a $1,000 sign-on bonus, plus benefits and growth

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience operating plastic molding machines preferred.
• Strong understanding of plastic manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Mechanical training/aptitude and technical training on packaging, plastics and printing equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate plastic molding machines according to established procedures.
• Monitor machines during operation to ensure proper functioning and make adjustments as necessary.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks on machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Inspect finished products for quality and make adjustments as necessary.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during production.
• Maintain inventory of raw materials and notify supervisor when supplies need to be replenished.
• Follow established safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Other duties as assigned.
