Plastic Injection Process Technician- Nights

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage scrap rates for assigned presses
• Monitor actual cycle times and efficiency
• Maintain Process Parameter sheets and provide essential information to the Engineer
• Identify and report problems with presses, robots, and EOAT (provide feedback to Engineer)
• Record Logbook entries and communicate shift issues during pass-down
• Ensure cleanliness of machines, including purging, pellets, parts, and runners in press
• Identify ROOT CAUSE accurately and input into barco at each press stoppage
• Perform cleaning of tools in the assigned area at the end of each shift
• Enforce proper break times and schedule to optimize efficiency
• Conduct training on setup processes and ensure proper startup of presses and tools
• Additional duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Three to five years of prior two-shot injection molding processing experience
• High School Diploma/GED
