Alexandria Industries is seeking a Plastics Injection Molding Press Operator to produce parts in the plastics molding department while ensuring customer specifications and quality standards are met. The role focuses on accurate, efficient production processes and maintaining safety across the facility.

The position requires attention to detail, ability to run high-volume parts, inspect and package them correctly, and participate in ongoing training.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe work environment and follow safety guidelines.
• Clean vacuum systems, purge presses, and keep area tidy.
• Operate high-volume parts and inspect/pack them correctly.
• Maintain quoted part output and quality.
• Demonstrate attentiveness and willingness to learn.
• Forklift certification may be required (train on site).
• Be a team player and cooperate with teammates.

Job description

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Plastics Injection Molding Press Operator is responsible for making parts in our plastics molding department, while ensuring finished parts meet customer specifications and company quality standards. This position is also responsible for ensuring that production processes are accurate and efficient, and that safety and quality standards are maintained throughout all areas in the facility.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure that safety is always the number one priority at Alexandria Industries; promote and support a safe work environment and safety oriented culture by following all safety programs and guidelines.
• Cleaning vacuum systems, clearing alarms, purging out the press, maintaining a clean, neat, work area.
• Be able to run high volume parts and being able to inspect and package them correctly.
• Being able to maintain the quoted part per our output.
• This job requires the operator to be paying attention and keep learning.
• Forklift certification may be required, (will train on site).
• Be a team player.
