Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking a Plastic Injection Molding Quality Inspector to be the final checkpoint for quality, accuracy, and presentation of plastic components. You will review travelers, perform light touch‑ups, and conduct final inspections to ensure conformance to customer requirements.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of related experience or training, with a plastics/manufacturing background preferred.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required or equivalent.
1–3 years of related experience or training preferred; plastics or manufacturing background preferred.
Comfort reading simple instructions and writing basic correspondence.
Math you’ll actually use: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
Computer know‑how: basic skills plus familiarity with Word, Excel, Access; able to work in IQMS (ERP).

Responsibilities

Inspect plastic components off injection molding presses and from secondary assembly.
Perform light part touch‑ups and simple secondary ops as specified.
Conduct final inspections with gauges and scales; verify conformance to customer specs.
Enter rejects, counts, and materials in IQMS; book parts into inventory.
Package parts to standard, label correctly, and prepare for shipment.
Maintain clean, organized work area and flag issues to supervisor.
