Job summary

Accredo Packaging, Inc. in Sugar Land, TX seeks a Press Technician I to assist the Press Operator in setting up and running a Windmoller & Holscher press, printing graphics on plastic film.

The role requires teamwork, basic math, and strong attention to detail, with a 12-hour shift preference. Hourly rate starts at $17.00 with a $2 night shift differential; prior manufacturing experience and forklift skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Basic math skills required; must pass the New Hire Base Assessment Test.
• Good color vision and attention to detail; comfortable with Excel and Word.
• Ability to use basic hand tools.
• Ability to operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts.
• Manual coordination and dexterity.
• Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
• 12-hour shift work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Press Operator in setting up and operating a Windmoller & Holscher printing machine safely.
• Load, hold, and feed unprinted materials; load film and packaging from warehouse.
• Tear down, clean, and maintain press components and work area.
• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues as needed.
• Generate labels to track production output and scrap.
• Palletize material and operate forklifts to move pallets.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures.
