Job summary

Plastipak Packaging, Inc is seeking a Production Technician to operate blow molding equipment in a clean, climate-controlled facility. You will monitor, adjust, and troubleshoot equipment to consistently produce high-quality plastic containers.

The role includes quality checks, teamwork, safety focus, and ongoing training with career growth opportunities. The position offers 12-hour night shifts on a rotating schedule, with a $20 per hour starting pay plus a night differential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of manufacturing/production experience.
• Basic knowledge of injection equipment preferred.
• Willingness to lift up to 50 pounds and work nights.

Responsibilities

• Operate blow molding and extrusion equipment in a climate-controlled facility.
• Monitor and adjust machine settings to meet quality specs.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and troubleshoot issues.
• Conduct quality checks on bottle weights and dimensions.
• Identify safety, reliability, quality and scrap reduction improvements.
• Participate in training and career development opportunities.
