Job summary

Exyte US is seeking a Plastic Fabricator to fabricate, assemble, and finish plastic components per drawings and standards. You will use hand and power tools, welding techniques, and fabrication equipment to produce high-quality parts in a safe, efficient environment.

You will read blueprints, measure with precision, cut, weld, and assemble, then inspect finished work and maintain production records. A strong mechanical aptitude, teamwork, and commitment to safety are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read a tape measure and work with fractional and decimal measurements.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment.
• Experience with plastic fabrication, welding, assembly, or manufacturing processes preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills preferred.
• Strong communication skills and commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
• Measure, cut, shape, weld, and assemble plastic components and systems.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment, including saws, routers, drills, and welders.
• Perform finishing processes such as sanding, deburring, scraping, and polishing.
• Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Troubleshoot fabrication and assembly issues and support continuous improvement efforts.
• Maintain production records and follow established manufacturing procedures.
• Adhere to all safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
