Job summary

PFL Services INC is looking to hire Extruder Operators for a position in the Asheboro, NC area. The payrate is $18/hour with shifts available: 1st shift from 7am to 3pm, 2nd shift from 3pm to 11pm, and 3rd shift from 11pm to 7am, all Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities include determining setup procedures, reeling extruded products, reading blueprints, and ensuring product quality. Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in plastic extrusion.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of plastic extruder experience.

Responsibilities

• Determine setup procedures.
• Reel extruded products into rolls or reels.
• Specify lengths and weights of rolls or reels.
• Set controls to regulate vacuum, air pressure, sizing rings and temperature.
• Synchronize speed of extrusion.
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Locate defects on extruded parts.
• Check for conformance to specifications.
• Record product measurements.
• Adjust controls as necessary, Install, connect, test and adjust equipment.
• String up lines.
• Clean tools and tooling.
