Job summary

Cardinal Systems Inc. is seeking a Plastic Extrusion Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will operate and maintain extrusion machinery for plastic hoses, deck drains and other custom products, while upholding strict quality standards and safety policies.

The role requires basic forklift experience, the ability to read prints, and the physical capacity to lift up to 50 pounds. Training for forklift certification will be provided if needed, with a 3rd shift from 11:45 PM to 8:00

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience operating a forklift preferred/ the ability to obtain certification.
• Will be required to climb, lift, squat, stoop, knee, crouch, or crawl.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds independently.
• Ability to work at a steady and consistent pace.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain plastic extrusion machines for hoses, deck drains and other products.
• Support quality control by inspecting parts and processes.
• Follow safety policies and SOPs and ensure a safe workplace.
• Read prints/documents and complete production and quality data sheets.
