Job summary

Charter Next Generation, Inc. in Rhinelander, Wisconsin, is seeking an Entry Operator for FLEX shifts on a part-time basis. You will operate extrusion equipment, monitor quality, and participate in our training program while contributing to sustainable packaging.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 65 pounds.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort with measuring tools.
• Strong communication skills and positive attitude.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a technical environment.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Performs duties in a manner that adheres to safety policies and procedures.
• Understand pouch layouts.
• Complete all QC testing per procedures.
• Pack pouches in accordance with packing spec.
• Label & barcode finished and packed pouches per specifications.
• Mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot and solve machine problems.
• Use computers to enter production data and print labels.
• Read layouts to set up a pouch machine to specifications.
• Perform housekeeping and preventative maintenance to keep equipment ready.
• Maintain good interaction and teamwork with supervisor and co-workers.
• Assist co-workers to expedite changeovers.
