Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a 3rd shift extrusion operator in North Brunswick, NJ. The role involves setting up and operating extrusion machinery, calibrating settings, loading materials, and monitoring production to ensure quality and efficiency.
You will perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot issues, inspect products for conformance, and strictly follow safety protocols in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
3rd Shift Monday - Friday. 11:00 P.M. - 7:30 A.M.
Pay Rate: $20.00 - $23.00 Per Hour, plus $1.00 per hour shift differential.
A successful extrusion operator requires a blend of technical skills, mechanical aptitude, and attention to detail. Some employers may hire high school graduates with on‑the‑job training; many prefer a technical diploma in industrial technology or mechanical engineering.
Entry‑level extrusion operator can advance to supervisory roles, quality control positions, or specialized technical roles with experience and continued education.
