Amcor is hiring a Converting Operator to support Healthcare Packaging Clean Room operations in Oshkosh. You will operate production equipment to produce high-quality pouches and bags while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety procedures and promote a safety-first culture.
• Comply with GMP, ISO, PPE and Clean Room gowning requirements.
• Perform visual inspections, material checks, and quality testing.
• Set up, operate, and monitor production equipment per work instructions.
• Load raw materials and perform minor machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Train and support Clean Room Specialists in operation and documentation.
• Complete production, quality, and compliance documentation accurately.
• Assist with packaging and machine setup activities.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment using 6S.

Pay: $26-$28/hour based on experience

Shift Premium: $1.20/hour for nights

Additional Pay: 1.5x pay on Sundays and for hours worked over 40 per week

Schedule

• 12-hour straight night shift schedule (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM)
• 2-2-3 schedule

About the Role

Amcor is hiring a Converting Operator to support our Healthcare Packaging Clean Room operations in Oshkosh. In this role, you will operate production equipment, produce high-quality pouches and bags, and help ensure customer requirements are met while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency standards.

What You'll Do

• Follow safety procedures and promote a safety-first culture
• Comply with GMP, ISO, PPE, and Clean Room gowning requirements
• Perform visual inspections, material checks, and quality testing
• Set up, operate, and monitor production equipment according to work instructions
• Load raw materials and perform minor machine maintenance and troubleshooting
• Train and support Clean Room Specialists in machine operation and documentation
• Complete production, quality, and compliance documentation accurately
• Assist with packaging and machine setup activities
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment using 6S principles
• Participate in team initiatives and support additional projects as assigned

Must Have

• Ability to work a 12-hour night shift on a 2-2-3 schedule
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn production programs and systems
• Basic math, measurement, and reading skills
• Ability to perform visual inspections and distinguish colors
• Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform climbing, crouching, and reaching tasks

Preferred

• Previous machine operation experience
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Understanding of mechanical equipment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Good organizational and interpersonal skills
• Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
