Amcor Appleton seeks a Machine Operator to run packaging machinery, ensuring safety and quality while contributing to a collaborative, continuous-improvement team.

This role supports machine setups, line clearances, quality checks, documentation, and RF scanning, with a 2-2-3 day schedule on day or night shifts. Competitive benefits accompany wages starting at $27.04–$28.80 per hour.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Act as a safety leader and put safety first in all responsibilities.
• Support machine setups and line clearances – set up packing automation, help with tool changes, stage materials, operate a forklift.
• Perform quality assurance checks and make adjustments as needed.
• Communicate any defects found and replace with good product.
• Use a computer program to ensure specifications, labels, and materials match.
• Follow packing specifications to pack, wrap, and label product before using an RF scanner to scan into inventory locations.
• Keep the facility clean by following a 5S schedule.
• Attend monthly training and follow GMP and PPE policies.
